The Company:
Our client is a leading global supplier of consultancy, engineering, and project management services in the the world's oil and gas, minerals and metals, clean energy, environmental and infrastructure markets.

The Role:
To ensure all project costs are allocated, recorded, monitored and controlled against Project and Company Codes. To monitor, control and report current and forecast expenditures, against approved Budgets, to enable Project and Corporate Management to ensure that the final project costs are within the approved Budget.

Prime Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure sufficient familiarity with the Contract for the Project.
After contract award, analyse project estimate, liaising with Estimating and Proposals, and agree breakdown so that it complies with the Client and Management reporting/control requirements.
Prepare project cost control procedures and coding.
Phase the project estimate in line with the Project Plan across the durations of each phase of the job.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University graduate or above in Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Studies or other appropriate discipline
Minimum 12 years working experience in cost engineering roles in petrochemical industry or similar.
Capable of evaluating and consulting on project cost accounting / forecasting issues.
Membership of a professional institution (eg RICS) desirable but not absolutely essential
