The Company:
Our client is a leading engineering contractor and project integrator for the nuclear industry. They have been at the heart of the UK nuclear industry for more than 50 years. During that time they have designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a wide range of nuclear equipment and plant for both the power generation and defence markets.

The Role:
Reports to Project Controls Manager
Providing the Project Control Manager assigned to the specific project with complete and accurate cost control data on a regular basis.
As required by the Project Control Manager, attend all internal and external project progress reviews.
Issue project cost reports in accordance with the requirements of the Project Control Manager and the Project Execution Plan.
Maintenance of complete and accurate reporting, on a routine basis, of cost control data on the Project.
Maintaining historical records to support and assist in the provision of budgetary data for the preparation of new project proposals.
Ensuring the cost control systems employed are to the standard required to support the the Clients reporting systems.
Expedite submission of sub-contractor valuation certificates in support of client contract period end submissions for the project.
Collate and verify all underpinning data in support of sub-contractor and the Clients valuation submissions for payment certificate.
Manage financial audits on all sub-contractors to verify cost and underpinning detail for actual spends.
Closing out of Client QS Application for Payment queries
Ensuring agreed changes in Target Price with Client are reflected in cost reporting information.
Collate functional cost performance data and produce PFS and PFSR monthly reports.
Produce budget variation report and underpinning data at both cost and sales basis by both supplying function and workpack.
Produce Opportunity and Vulnerability register
Produce commercial summary of contract performance to date.
Update and produce forecast to complete for each workpackage and function at both sales and cost of sales basis.
Support the verification and expedition of subcontractor valuations & supporting information
Maintain Cost Coding Structure within IFS to allow accurate capture of cost at level required by Project
Updating of IFS Cost Coding structure to support capture of cost against new activities identified through NEC3 External Change.
