The Company:
is an international operator currently having a massive growth on their offshore asset in Qatar.

The Role:
The client is looking for someone flexible on work location and is willing to travel if needs be, this location for this position has not yet been fixed and will be announced shortly.

This position, is responsible and accountable for tracking and updating the cost estimates related to the EPIC contracts.
Project Objectives and Deliverables
• Review EPIC Lump Sum contracts, including all change orders and other deviations from the Lump Sum price. Ensure compliance with the contractual obligations.
• Provide support for the entire project life cycle, of construction, hook-up and commissioning of the new facilities.
• Provide updates on cost estimates, including forecasting, and assist in preparing management reports and attending project meetings. Maintain documentation to support deviations from the baseline plan.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow for each package of work, including overhead and other Company direct costs. Communicate regularly with the project controls management team to ensure the overall Phase 5 project budget is understood and any significant deviations from the plan are brought to the attention on the Project Controls Manager.
• Communicate regularly with all disciplines and groups to ensure accuracy of inputs to the cost estimate. Participate in interface meetings with onshore and offshore construction.
• Raise and discuss key and critical issues with the Project Controls Manager to develop solutions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of cost engineering experience and/or project management experience. Experience with a large EPIC project preferred.
• Depth of knowledge of project management planning, execution and monitoring and control concepts.
• Ability to articulate a plan of action and document that plan by both verbal and written/charting/graphical means.
• Possess strong mathematical skills related to cost tracking, analysis and forecasting.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, and possess an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with project schedules/Gantt Charts and dependency based scheduling, and resource loading.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
