The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 30 Countries worldwide.In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Construction Stage.

The Role:
• Manage the development and provision of high quality logistics cost controls deliverables incorporating analysis and assessment of content and conclusions
• Develop and set up a logistics shared services and cost control framework
• Develop and manage budget, commitment, VoWD and forecasting cycle for Development Budget and Production Budget, or other budgets as required.
• Ensure that the logistics cost is allocated is in line with the established allocation method, in an auditable manner.
• Liaise with Project Control and Finance for WBS, tax codes, descriptions.
• Optimise the use of available systems and resources to deliver services within the defined time constraints.
• Support preparation of accurate and timely consolidated cost control report for management and JVPs.
• Liaise with contractors for the potential contractual issues, including invoicing and payment.
• Identify and implement improvement initiatives both for areas of direct responsibility and for other areas in the Logistics

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Mathematics or equivalent level of industry based experience.
• 7 years' experience in logistics cost control or logistics accountant in the Oil and Gas Project delivery environments
• Excellent analytical and subjective assessment skills
• Knowledge of SAP finance and accounting modules, and material management modules.
• Experience and knowledge of logistics and cost control procedures and processes including the ability to create ones.
• Detailed understanding of Project Cost Control practices and principles
• Excellent knowledge of activity based costing and international accounting standards & practices
• Understanding of Procurement related processes and system
• Broad Technical knowledge base
• Strong team work and willingness to support broader team members beyond core role
