The Company:
A Major Oil and Gas Operator.

The Role:
Accountable for the production of all consolidated cost reports such as project summaries and provide assurance that the cost engineering process is being carried out in accordance with MPcp
Assisting the Lead Cost Engineer in the day to day project deliverables and support to the PGM, BRO’s and Delivery Team Managers.
Possibility to relocate to Baku when mobilisation commences.

• Together with the Lead Cost Engineer, to identify, manage and achieve all Project Services deliverables required to support successfully moving the project through the various Select, Define and Execute stage gates, Partner sanction and development of initial Control Budgets and subsequent Control Budget updates thereafter
• Work with the Project General Managers and Project Engineers, Construction Manager to ensure that Cost deliverables through the stage gates are clearly defined
• Develop and manage set up of the latest version Company Cost Database System Kildrummy® CostMANAGER version 2
• Develop Cost Control strategies, plans and procedures and participate in the preparation of the Project Execution Plan / Decision Support Package for the Execute Phase
• Assist in the update the WBS/CBS procedures working closely with Cost, Estimating and Planning, using the MPcp Project Services Guidelines Standard WBS practice
• Prepare and coordinate the development of estimates and studies
• Recast Budgets for Contracts from the Project Estimate against the scopes of work in conjunction with the Estimating team.
• Participate and input into the RFP (Request For Proposal i.e.ITT s) process through to contract award.
• Prepare internal/external benchmarking exercises
• Preparation of appropriate budgets and monitor costs (commitment, expenditure, forecast and AEL (Approved Expenditure Limit( vs. MLO (Most Lilkely Outcome) reporting)
• Management presentations, internal GFO’s, AWP&B’s, Long Term Plans, Project Cost Reports and Dashboards etc ensuring that integrated Cost information is consistently and clearly communicated at the appropriate level.
• Coordinate the Cost activities and develop strong interfaces between the other key disciplines / groups such as Contracts / PSCM, Finance, Planning, Estimating and Delivery Teams. Interface with Project Management as appropriate to maintain a cost profile and influence.
• Preparation of the Monthly Reporting functions including but not limited to Company Internal GFO, AWP&B, Long Term Plans, Cost Dashboards, Partner Monthly Reports, and Expenditure Phasing Exercises etc.
• Ensure correct coding of all requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, estimates and develop and maintain all required cost logs, registers and Maximo.
• CostManager Control & Reporting System - focusing on coordination of the system interfaces, consolidated reporting activities as well as carrying out system administration, security and advanced set-up and report functionality
• Review, set up and approval of Contractor’s Cost Reporting Systems and Cost Reports
• Be familiar with Change Management Process

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10 years experience in another role
Must have experience of CostManager.
