The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a CPF Hook-up Manager to prepare the CPF Offshore HU scope of work in line with Project requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Offshore to control and manage contractors activities to ensure a proper execution in line with the Project objectives in HSE, Quality and Schedule.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure welfare of personnel, protection of assets and environment at all times.
• Ensure that HSE requirements are systematically considered all along the interface and risk management process and in particular that interfaces and risks are properly addressed during HAZID / HAZOP project audits.
• Ensure compliance with Construction and Hook-up procedures and project specifications.

Preparation Phase in Korea:
• Monitor and assist as necessary the contractor for the preparation of future hook-up works offshore for CPF Package.
• Ensure compliance with company's procedures and project specifications.
• Define and organize the required organization in quantity and in quality and identify/recruit the corresponding personnel.
• Liaise and coordinate as necessary with Perth organization with the other company Packages and with CPF leaders/engineers.
• Report preparation progress as necessary to CPF Manager.
• Participate to/organize all necessary meetings in relation to his activities.

Execution Phase Offshore Activities

• Manage and control the hook-up works performed by contractor on CPF
• Assist as necessary the CPF Commissioning Manager in its activities
• Liaise, coordinate and assist as require the other parties in the offshore works
• Maintain a proper contact and good reporting to CPF rep, CPF Manager and onshore organization.
• Keep good and cooperative relationship with contractors in line with the contract.
• Participate to/organize all necessary meetings in relation to his activities.
• Prepare a debriefing/close-out dossier at the end of the hook-up works.
• Lead review and coordination meetings, produce reports and briefings.
• Represent CPF package when chairing Project meetings.
• Participate in the resolution in case of conflicts, keeping in mind first the overall interest of project development, then those of CPF package.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Preparation Phase reports to the CPF Package Manager
• Offshore Phase reports to CPF Site Rep
• Tertiary qualifications and/or professional registration in a relevant engineering discipline eg chemical engineering, mechanical engineering.

Skills and Experience requirements

• Minimum 10 years experience of construction management on projects for the development of large oil & gas fields.
• Experience in Austalian projects
• Liaison with 3rd party service providers.
• Exposure to engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, offshore hook up.
• Familiarity with oil and gas technologies – sub-sea, offshore production facilities, pipelines, gas export.
• Familiarity with wider assurance issues – quality, safety, environmental.
• Good understanding of overall and detail planning management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to diplomatically manage conflict and uncertainty in a culturally diverse environment
