The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 30 Countries worldwide.In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Construction Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced IVB/Class/Flag Coordinator. The main focus of this role is to provide specialist IVB advice to the project team in Geoje, South Korea and to act as the focal point for offshore validation, verification and class approval process.

Key Responsibilities required:
•Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures
•Co-ordinating the development of the CPF IVB regulatory documentation
•Liaising with our EPC Contractor counterparts
•Acting as the company coordinator with the EPC and the project assigned Independent Verification Body, AMSA (Flag) and Classification Society whilst representing the company in all matters to assist in ensuring CPF is compliant to the associated requirements through design, procurement, construction and commissioning
•Assisting the project and EPC Contractor in the development, assessment, implementation, and monitoring of written verification schemes for all project phases
•Leading IVB meetings with EPC, IVB and Classification Society, and providing support as necessary to the IVB, client and third party interfaces;
•Reviewing IVB work instructions and terms of reference to ensure clarity of purpose
•Coordinating, reporting and following-up any actions from the IVB, Class and AMSA
•Provide input to and provision of regular IVB, Class & Flag status reporting.
•Provide support to the project on applicable IVB, Class and AMSA Rule, interpretation and implementation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key Qualification, Skills & Experience required:
•Tertiary qualifications and/or professional registration in a relevant engineering or applied science discipline, e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science.
•Relevant experience in the Australian Offshore Oil and Gas Industry to include familiarity with verification and written verification schemes, Safety Case requirements and Classification Rules for Offshore facilities
•Working knowledge of Knowledge of Offshore related IMO regulations such as MODU Code
•Experience of quality systems, audit, vendor inspection
•Experience of working in Korean Ship yards
•Effective communicator and experience within diverse cultural settings, particularly Asia.
•Able to adapt quickly to new environments and strong relationship building skills
