Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. Construction Technical Responsibilities
• Create and maintain an environment in which pursuit of excellence, zero accident, and zero rework is part of the site culture.
• Ensure contractor compliance to project specs, HSE procedures and regulatory requirements
• Work as an interface between the Contractor’s supervision and the General Superintendent to ensure a one team approach and harmonious working environment.
• Attend and participate in contractor prelift and toolbox meetings
• Review JHA, WMS and risk assessments.
• Coordination of daily crane movements and rigging activities
• Equipment inspections cranes and rigging
• Weekly reporting to General Superintendent
• Effectively manages and controls change. Applies Project Development and Execution Process and Capital Stewardship principles to maintain effective communications and the free flow of information between work groups in order to assess and minimize the impact of concession requests, schedule changes, and technical interface queries.

Health, Safety, Environment and Quarantine (HSEQ)
• Manages the day-to-day interface with both contractors and subcontractors, providing a focus on safety, environment and quarantine together with quality and engineering aspects. Assures that contractor and subcontractors environment, safety, health and quarantine deliverables and compliance requirements are established and maintained.
• Commits to and champions the development and implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
• Familiar with Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) tools. Participates in the site Total Safety Task Observation (TSTO), Step Back 5X5 and Hazard Intervention and Reporting Card (HIRC) processes.

Living on Barrow Island on a rotation basis. Many interfaces with various groups. The position is part of the site execution team with strong interface and relationship development with the Perth-based engineering organization. The key interfaces at site are with the contractor and Technical Services teams.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HRWL (high risk work license) RA advanced rigging or equivalent
• Sound understanding and knowledge of Crane erection and dismantle to manufactures spec
• Sound knowledge of rigging arrangements and components
• Sound knowledge of Australian OH&S regulations and Australian Standards relating to cranes and rigging
• Demonstrate good supervisory skills, mentoring of technical and non-technical personnel whilst on the construction site.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction industry specializing in cranes and rigging
• Must have good organisational skills and able to keep clear and precise records and quality documentation
• Competency in the use of common computer systems and software
• Must be able to work in a team environment
