The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide technical coordination of new product programmes to deliver whole vehicle acoustic, aerodynamic and Creak & Rattle performance to ensure achievement of product targets. This role will specifically include project integration, coordination and management in Whole Vehicle EWA of vehicle specifications, vehicle requirement, budget, vehicle usage, concerns management etc.

Scope of the Role
Responsible for the week to week Technical Project coordination, delivery & management of a specific project/platform program, including;
- Working with available/agreed budgets (could include forecast/reforecast) and functions/project.
- Coordination and management of vehicle specifications for EWA.
- Coordination, planning and management of vehicle co-ordinators and PI coordinator.
- Attendance at EW vehicle requirements meeting to secure EWA Vehicle usage.
- EWA representation at project meetings to secure EWA requirements, and identification and reporting of project concerns within EWA.
- Planning and managing x-department and project synergies and ways of working opportunities (Technical integration).
- Co-ordinating project status in EWA e.g. Milestone gateway tracking and status, PVR tracking.
- Co-ordination of project budgets, budget spend profile, budget reforecasts etc.
- Identifying activity conflicts and business priorities for elevation and decision.
- Overview status and support for EWA responses to PDB’s and AEKO’s etc.
- Coordination and management of project VDS reporting
- Defining and planning own work and reporting technical status and progress.
- Monitoring the vehicle build specification status documentation, production concessions and permits (e.g. NVH readiness status) and reporting.

Ideally Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline and preferably Chartered Engineer or demonstrable experience.

5 years experience of project management and development in the automotive industry German language experience advantageous.
Alternatively could be a development role for an Engineer wishing to broaden skills with a view to further progression.
