The Role:

A permanent vacancy has arisen for the position of Credit and Risk Officer reporting directly to the Risk Coordinator. The role is part of a highly skilled, self-motivated department, whose primary objective is to ensure Energy24 meet company, statutory & all other regulatory requirements to the specified standards.


To support the Risk Co-ordinator in day to day activities both internal and external facing.

To work with other members of the Risk Management team to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations.

To support the Risk Department in developing, controls, reviewing and monitoring best practice with regards to energy trading and settlement activities.

To collect and analyse relevant market and energy trading data as required.

To calculate and update collateral calculations and monitor customer credit positions.

To update and maintain Risk Management registers and reporting to the Risk Co-ordinator.

To ensure timely and accurate communications with Front Office, Settlements and Finance as required regarding trade errors, late payments, follow up payments and cash flow.

To support other Risk Department/ company personnel, in maintaining high levels of safety, availability and reliability.

To gain an understanding and contribute to the departments key performance indicators.

To be recognised as a key member & contributor to the Risk Department.

To act as the face of the Risk Department in regards to day to day customer credit activities.

To portray the position of Credit & Risk Officer in a positive and professional manner.
