The Role:
Crisis Management and Emergency Response Manager (CM & ER Manager)
Job Duties:
1. Manage processes related to Emergency response , guide and instruct personnel and interested parties.
2. Establish Crisis Management strategy for the Venture in accordance with RoK applicable legislation.
3. Develop and implement necessary measures aimed to achieve established objectives.
4. Develop and implement plans and programmes that support compliance with COMPANY Crisis management and emergency response policies, standards and external regulations.
5. Specify the requirements for emergency, evacuation and rescue activities and ensure the compliance of the organization and processes implemented by the Agent Companies.
6. Assist the HSE General Manager in the definition of Emergency Response resources for the current and future COMPANY activities.
7. Develop and maintain high level Emergency Response targets and measurable performance indicators for the venture.
8. Participate in HSE network by demonstrating continuous cooperation with venture companies.
9. Contribute to the construction and maintenance of the HSE Management System in the COMPANY organization.
10. Establish policies and procedures related to Emergency response and crisis management as appropriate, review and make amendments, if necessary.
11. Develop and implement reporting system related to Health and Safety in compliance with legal and PSA requirements.
12. Develop and maintain accident / incident reporting and analysis system to allow management to influence Health and Safety performance.
13. Develop and run audit system to monitor performance, improve management awareness and develop the confidence of authorities.
14. Plan and coordinate accident investigations, provide recommendations on corrective and preventive measure, and analyse outcomes for future knowledge, as required.
15. Plan and coordinate management reviews of significant incident investigations, analyse and communicate outcomes to interested parties.
16. Participate in and coordinate audits of Agents' facilities and processes as required to minimize potential risks to people, environment and assets.
17. Participate in project reviews as required.
18. Handle Crisis and Emergency Response management in all COMPANY premises.
19. Interfacing and conducting negotiations, as necessary, with RoK regulators on Emergency response matters.
20. Counsel general manager on the aspects of relations and communications with authorities.
21. Assist in preparation of materials on HSE objective and performance to be presented to venture and PSA governance bodies.
22. Find and evaluate potential contractors and suppliers for HSE aspects in the Venture and conduct assessment of their activities.
23. Assign functions, roles and responsibilities to the team personnel.
24. Participate in staff selection, career development, succession planning and recommend developmental training.
25. Participate in reviewing and awarding compensation and rewards in accordance with the established remuneration system.
26. Carry out other tasks as instructed by immediate supervisor within assigned area of responsibility and professional qualification.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• University degree (BSc)
• 10 years experience in operations or HSE with at least 5 years of experience the oil and gas industry in a similar role
• Knowledge of crisis communication

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good managerial and organizational skills
• Ability to manage and lead a team of Emergency Response trained professionals
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to work in an international and diverse environment
