The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company responsible for the Construction, Ownership and Operation of it's own Plants.

The Role:
Oversee variety of activities involving the maintenance of rotating and other mechanical equipment, which will contribute to safe and reliable operations.

1. Lead the preparation of technical specifications of various rotating mechanical equipment and materials, and ensure they adhere to the agreed design, standards and requirements, plant operability and performance.

2. Oversee the development of basic design, detailed engineering and procurement- related activities of Rotating Equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers and refrigeration units.

3. Responsible for providing rotating equipment information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the project team.

4. Review and approve vendor documentation for rotating equipment on assigned projects.

5. Provide the technical expertise to assist in achieving accuracy in project piping and instrumentation drawings.

6. Provide guidance to the team to ensure that the team coordinate with other relevant organizations to determine and predict mechanical equipment component’s life using appropriate reliability tools, to ensure extended operating life of mechanical equipment.

7. Lead the group in providing the technical assistance and trouble-shooting support for all mechanical rotating equipment, and ensure that all maintenance activities and procedures are aligned with reliability requirements.

8. Identify spare part requirements for rotating equipment; employing risk-based maintenance tool and other similar systems.

9. Ensure compliance with all the company and government environmental health and safety regulations.

10. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant engineering field.

Professional Experience (minimum)
• 15 years in similar technical / industrial field of work
