The Role:
Responsibilities:
• Serve as internal resource and external representative on CSR issues.
• CSR committee leader, whose role is to develop and approve initiatives that further Company’s CSR commitment.
• Craft CSR strategy implementation plans, and be held accountable for results - in line with national laws and regulations, petroleum concession agreements, company’s business development needs, global CSR policy and direction and MDC Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts where needed.
• Manage CSR assessment and consulting engagements, and other external consultants.
• Manage CSR reporting process, working with business units and communications.
• Design and oversee the preparation of the company’s brochures and other information material to project a positive image of the company.
• Attend conferences, participate in CSR membership organizations, gather and share resources.
• Benchmark competition and industry best practices.
• Work with HR, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement teams to develop internal communications and employee involvement plans as needed.
• Establish, nurture and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies.
• Evaluate pending legislation, determine legislation's impact on their organization and develop the organization’s response.
• Develop government affairs strategies which enhance the organization’s image among authorities and media.
• Obtain all approvals and permits from the appropriate government authorities such as DMF and Navy etc to ensure that the Company’s operations run smoothly and in compliance with the terms of the petroleum concession and sale agreements and applicable legislation.
• Assist the Company in the environment public participation hearing.
• Provide top management and other departments with relevant guidance and advice on CSR matters.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications and requirements:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Communication or related field from reputation University.
• 8 years experience in CSR field from oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of CSR with related professional records and good knowledge of the country regulations and politics and government protocols.
• Have a good relationship with various government agencies, especially the DMF, Environmental Department, etc
• Excellent writing, presentation and speaking skills for both in English and Thai
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective leadership and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and to build and maintain internal and external partnerships.
• Excellent diplomacy and interpersonal skills, good organization skills.
