The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Accountable to the Downstream Commissioning Manager for the LNG Process facilities to achieve a safe and efficient commissioning and start-up of the Downstream LNG facilities.

Leads a team of 6 commissioning engineers (3 BTB positions)

Key responsibilities

For the LNG PROCESS facilities:

• Lead the development of Company strategies and plans to ensure overall readiness for the execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in both module yard and on Barrow Island. Review contractor submissions of commissioning strategies and plans for alignment therewith.
• Lead the Company review of contractor Commissioning plans; manuals and procedures, to assure feasibility and alignment with Company Governance.
• Provide direction to the contractor Commissioning group such that the delivery of the commissioning scope is effective, in compliance with agreed procedures, to the correct quality, and as per schedule. Both in the module yard and on BWI
• Assure contractor Commissioning team compliance to the Commissioning HES plan, in particular to management of Simops, safeguards and overrides and Log Out / Tag Out procedure application
• Provide input to the Engineering scope in respect to commissioning requirements. Assure compliance to Management of Change protocol for close out of Non Conformances and Changes identified.
• Manage the Handover of the LNG PROCES facilities to the asset operations team
• Assure timely progress reporting and pro-active initiation of recovery measures where progress is behind plan
• Lead the identification of potential Commissioning risks and the implementation of mitigation plans
• Assist in the development and execution of the IFF program

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree is preferred but not necessary
Minimum 10 Years of direct supervisory experience in commissioning and start-up of Mega Project

LNG commissioning and Start-up

Personal Attributes:
Ability to lead, influence and handle multiple interfaces
Ability to work under pressure and still deliver to a timeline
Good negotiator
Ability to plan and identify execution risks and mitigations
