• Supporting the Cultural Heritage Advisor in planning, scheduling and developing draft SOW, Contracts, schedule and budgets
• Lead the execution and reporting of heritage assessments on additional project footprint
• Provide support to Survey and Construction Contractors including training, input into local site selection/routing decisions, development of impact mitigation measures and monitoring of ground disturbance
• Support implementation of the Cultural Heritage Management Plan and the Chance Finds Procedure
• Accompanying all contractors, consultants on heritage assessments to ensure objectives are fulfilled and SCPX project interests are upheld.
• Day to day monitoring of construction activities focusing on topsoil stripping, grading, trenching, aggregate abstraction, etc. (i.e. any earth movement activities)
• Action tracking and close-out of actions within weekly reports
• Provide technical expertise into review of technical content and quality of all reports
• Manage daily reporting of all cultural heritage activities on and support Cultural Heritage Advisor (CHA) on the production of weekly summary reports
• Assist the CHA in managing all Project cultural heritage documentation in a structured and accessible way
• Assist Cultural Heritage Advisor to promote international good practice;
• Assist Cultural Heritage Advisor in dissemination of important heritage information to the public and / or scientific community;
• Maintenance and of spatial data records in close collaboration with GIS team.
• Make recommendations via Company site representative and/or Environmental Advisor.
• Provides instructions to other Project field personnel in recognising and acting on cultural heritage issues.
• Acts as a line coach to construction engineers, construction supervisors, environmental and social positions to raise the cultural heritage awareness and compliance of the SCPx Project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Relevant Archaeological degree

• Extensive experience of archaeological surveys and reconnaissance involving a wide variety of site types
• Experienced in contractor management
• Strong understanding of local legislation
• Experience in AGT region
