The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• To provide front end sales support Robotics customers
• Development of long term relationships with key clients
• Promote Customer Service offering to Robotics users
• Provide manufacturing automation advise to customers
• Generate growth of Customer Service business within defined account territory.
• Build and develop appropriate relationships across all levels
• Work closely with local manager to deliver a common objective of profitable growth.
• Focused account planning with marketing team, sales colleagues and local management
• Undertake joint field visits with robotics colleagues as necessary, in order to deliver collaborative presence to customers
• Ensure that knowledge is maintained at the highest standard in line with the requirements and expectations of the business, ensuring capability to sell the full product portfolio.
• To liaise with local sales manager and colleagues to determine best practise models for portfolio of offer.
• To develop appropriate customer segmentation with local Sales Manager to focus on maximising growth opportunities.
• To ensure sales model utilizes best practice methods
• To co-ordinate with back end office support for follow through of sales leads, end of warranty campaigns, obsolescence opportunities
• To co-ordinate and share knowledge with other Robotics Sales Team colleagues in identifying mutual opportunities for Robotics growth.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HNC / Degree or diploma in an engineering field
• Customer focused with strong communication skills
• Self-disciplined and motivated
• Able to successfully interface with customers at all management levels
• Understanding of health and safety operating procedures
• Can demonstrate a good knowledge of both electrical & mechanical engineering
• Flexible approach to extended/unusual working hours
• Past involvement in customer sales role or activities
