The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Our Client, a global leader in power automation technology, are looking to appoint an Customer Support Administrator for their Cheshire based team. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and administration skills and some experience from an engineering products environment is highly desirable though not essential.

You will be liaising with colleagues, management, production units, sales engineers, distributors and customers on a daily basis so we need someone with a flexible attitude to work, customer focus being the key.

Key responsibilities:
* Respond to customer calls and emails
* Process customer orders
* Handle customer enquiries and prepare quotes
* Provide Customer Sales support
* Attend customer / factory visits as required
* Meet customer deadlines

Key Skills / Attributes:
* Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, HND) or degree
* Other relevant qualification
* Computer literate
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and take initiative
* Accurate and efficient work ethic
* Excellent communication and administrative skills
* Ability to multi task

* Knowledge of motors, bearings, pumps, generators etc, engineering products
* Previous industry experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may have previously worked as a field engineer in the power / automation industry, who now wants an office based role with good career progression potential. Or alternatively someone who has previously worked in an internal sales role in a similar industry.
