The Company:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for a customer support manager, ideally candidate would be from a mechanical background, someone who has experience with mechanical handling equipment, rotating equipment. Would also consider candidate who are either Production Manager, Project Manager, Workshop Manager and Engineering backgrounds

The Role:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively promote the sale of Company products & services within allocated client contracts
• Liaise regularly and directly with client contacts to identify reliability issues and propose improvement opportunities for the sale of Company products and services
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with client operational and supply chain contacts
• Lead operational and commercial communications with client representatives on allocated client contracts
• Manage & direct the activities, workload and priorities of Contract Engineer and Contract Buyer to meet client requirements and deadlines
• Manage & drive the Contract Team to achieve Company’s monthly targets for agreed revenue, profit, quality and service delivery targets.
• Manage customer contract agreements to ensure company’s compliance to legal terms and conditions and scope of work.
• Lead and promote effective communication both internal and external to ensure efficient execution of all activities under the contract scope of work.
• Liaise with Repairs & Spares Specialist to ensure adequate support to customer on complex repair and spares activities
• Contribute to the development & implementation of the company strategy to meet the expectations of the Management Team based on the analysis of current and future market conditions.

• Support the company in its drive to create a better, more productive and safer working environment
• Embrace the Lean operating principles and seek to apply these in the work place
• Take an active part in improvement teams
• Apply 5S principles to improve safety and working methods
• Participate in team training and development events
• Encourage team working and seek to shared best practice with co-workers
• Solicit company performance feedback from customers and meet the FPAL reporting requirements as identified by the company
