The Role:
1. Provide executive assistance to Legal Directorate.
2. In accordance with scope of work approved by Legal Directorate support the members of the Legal Directorate.
3. Perform due diligence work and legal research.
4. Draft Powers of Attorney, letters on legal admin/organizational matters.
5. Be responsible for all aspects of Legal Directorate Contract Administration, including drafting of Requisitions, Single Source Justifications and Contract Board Submissions.
6. Review, advise on and negotiate Contracts and Agreements, as identified by Legal Director.
7. Upon the request of the LM, assist with personnel matters of the Department, including recruitment and induction to the Directorate of new employees.
8. Assist with preparation for and attendance when required by the LM at high level meetings, including ManCom and ConCom and Legal Network, where required.
9. Liaise with the suppliers and C&P Department. Responsible for all payment procedures, filing of invoices, expense claims, etc. Work in SAP: TRF, expense claim reports, procurement of goods and services (Creation of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Service Entry Sheets).
10. Distribute confidential documents as per Legal Directorate guidelines and upon approval of Legal Director. Draft the confidentiality undertakings.
11. Ensure that the ManCom Resolutions database is efficiently and correctly updated with all the relevant documentation and provide the documents to the relevant Directorates, Agents and Contracting Companies.
12. Manage Legal Directorate archive, file, E-room.
13. Provide paralegal support on work with legal consultants, notaries.
14. Update Management Risks/Issue Management system.
15. Prepare monthly reports.
16. Update/search and respond to requests concerning QSE LLP Kazakhstan Laws in Eng database.
17. Arrange Legal Directorate internal meetings, take meeting minutes, draft and provide for approval Meeting Agendas, hand out meeting materials and documents.
18. Assist with the translation of the urgent documents into Russian, Kazakh and English if and when needed.
19. Proceed payment procedures for contractors, third parties, catering services (creation of PO), trainings, contractors/consultants, liaison with VQD to create/qualify a new vendors, collection of docs packages with all necessary documents, following creation of the Contract, Service entries in SAP, tracking the process of payment, obtaining of all validations.
20. Assist members of Legal Directorate in terms of Legal Assistant job duties in case of Legal Assistant’s absence/leave.
21. Carry out other tasks as instructed by immediate supervisor within assigned area of responsibility and professional qualification.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Good skills in organization and structure relating to handling of legal documents
Excellent IT skills
• Higher professional (legal) education in progress
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
• Technically competent with all Microsoft packages, particularly Word and PowerPoint
• Paralegal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and collected in tense situations
• Ability to maintain good working relationship with all levels of staff
• Accuracy and attention to detail
