Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Quality Warranty Data Analyst JLR Quality has the primary objective of driving and enabling quality improvement throughout the business and is split into 4 functions; Quality Engineering, Quality Operations, Quality Assurance and Quality Strategy. The Quality Assurance Department drives a customer first conscience for the business and is tasked with broadcasting the voice of the customer cross functionally to drive continuous product and process improvement. Quality Assurance has the primary objective of driving and enabling quality improvement on current/ prior model year vehicles in customer hands and is split into 3 functions; Quality Data & Systems, Quality Projects & Process and JLR Warranty. The primary responsibility of the Quality Warranty Data Analyst is to continuously deliver to the business the quality data analysis and insights it needs to deliver Warranty Quality improvement plans and achieve quality targets.

Skills Required:
All TIS warranty data analysis per COC, per vehicle line, per market, per supplier, warranty management report, warranty cost optimisation status vs target tracking. ¿ Set up automated methods to have monthly delivery of insights. ¿ Research new analysis methods & continuously improve. ¿ Develop improved mechanisms to feed all TIS warranty insights into current model prioritisation & forward model quality history. ¿ Leverage JLR cross-functional relationships for data insights, analysis, reporting and continuous improvement. ¿ Support process providing quality insights to all levels of JLR. ¿ Manage JLR warranty related metrics. Continuously improve data analysis methods and insights provided.

Experience Required:
Familiarity with some or all JLR quality data systems, including AWS, PAWS, AIMS. ¿ Understanding/ experience of some or all of PD PVT, PD Attributes, PD CoCs, Manufacturing, STA, Service and Marketing. ¿ Proven ability to manage multiple assignments & projects. ¿ High level of IT literacy. ¿ Experience of data analysis and/ or statistical techniques. ¿ Familiarity with 8D, Quality Mapping and 6-Sigma methodology ¿ Experience of customer data and/ or market research. ¿ High drive, self motivated and ability to deliver with minimal supervision. ¿ Committed, flexible and able to work under pressure. ¿ Excellent presentation and communication skills. ¿ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to enable communication across all levels of the business.

Education Required:
Familiarity with 8D, Quality Mapping and 6-Sigma methodology
