The Role:
Data Analyst – Seismic

Project Objectives:
• To review current data base of Seismic data (e-Search), locate and classify entries per Region based on entitlement (ownership.)
• To create a new Seismic data library to home all found data accurately.

The ideal candidate is a project-minded self-starter who can work well under pressure and balance competing priorities in a results-oriented work environment. Experience in the Oil & Gas – Exploration industry and familiarity with the concept of Seismic Data is a plus.

• Provide timely reports to the Project Lead and another project Analysts
• Identify gaps/obstacles and implement quick solutions to mitigate them
• Review metrics and share interpretations with the Project Lead
• Partner with the Central Records team, to obtain support and information pertaining to physical records/documents

• Advanced data base knowledge (Experience with SAP strongly preferred.)
• Bachelor's degree; Math, Economics, Statistics, Management Information Systems or Computer Science preferred, but not required
• 2-5 years of experience in business-to-business environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with charting, graphing or other visualization tools a plus
• Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities (Time Management)
• Usage and familiarity with Seismic terminology is a plus
• Attention to details
• Exceptional communication skills
• Can-do attitude with a service-oriented approach
• Ability to work productively under pressure
