A Global Leader in the provision of Digital Services, our client operates globally across 70+ Countries with over 100,000 personnel. Here in Korea they are involved in a number of prestigious projects across Seoul and Busan. The Group operates across the Defense, Financial Services, Health, Manufacturing, Media, Utilities, Public sector, Retail, Telecommunications, and Transportation sectors.

The Role:
Reports to the Datacenter Supervisor /Assistant Supervisor
• 12 hour rotating shifts and standby for cover duties
• Perform day to day-to-day Datacentre shift operations, handover and follow up tasks.
• Monitor, detect and follow up alerts with immediate notification and escalation.
• Perform monthly monitoring reporting and server admin tasks
• Perform ad-hoc level 1 server and network troubleshooting, server rack mounting and cable patching/management
• Perform regular datacenter facilities health checks and follow up
• Perform internal self-audit checks on operations processes, documentation and operations
• Attend to 24x7 customer Helpdesk requests and calls
• Perform regular or adhoc Datacentre asset inventory , diagram and records updates
• Participate in internal and external audit exercises and attend to audit queries and requests
• Security , integrity, safety and cleanliness of all company datacentres, command centres and customers datacentres under team’s care
• Security, integrity all Datacentre related process documents, and all media and any form of information under datacentre operation team’s care according to ISO27001 standards and guidelines
• Timely, accurate and complete upkeep of all datacentre related process documents, asset inventory, patch records , diagrams , work instructions , checklists and forms according to ISO 9001 standards and guidelines
• Zero incident or error in day to day running of Datacentre, call/ticket handling and monitoring operations and tasks
• Zero non-compliance or observations for any datacentre ISO, ISAE or PCI-DSS related audits
• Self admin, timesheet clocking and mandatory internal training set out by the management
• At least 5 GCE O level passes or Diploma in IT or any related discipline
• Candidate must be physically fit to perform server rack mounting, cable patching and other heavy equipment lifting
• Must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts and be on standby cover two to three days a month and long hours during incidents or project implementation
• Previous datacentre , helpdesk , monitoring and level one server/network support is a must
• Basic knowledge and working experience of networking and level 1 server support
• Able to multitask helpdesk, monitoring and DC operation tasks during exceptional situations
• Previous exposure to ISO 9001, 27001 , ISAE and PCI DSS audits advantageous
• Excellent customer support and communications skills at all levels , written or verbal advantageous
• Must have good problem solving skills in datacentre related operations and work relations
• Excellent team player and willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
