The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
We create exhilarating vehicles that thrill our customers, excite the market and keep us ahead of the competition.
Vehicle Performance and Driveability is a key contributor to the DNA of the brand and a major influencing factor on the desirability of our vehicles.
To understand and maintain competitive position in the market place, it is critical to predict and understand the strategies of our competitors.
This role will focus on determining the future strategies of our competition through use of intelligence gathering, technology assessment and parallel attribute consideration.
This activity will then shape strategy for future models with regards to Performance and Driveability and technology deployment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong data management skills (including documentation, audit and consolidation) - information mining and application - Knowledge of engineering principles, ideally with regards to Performance and Driveability concepts - Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills - Motivated and resourceful - Effective communication, presentation & interpersonal skills

Experience in data processing, manipulation and graphical presentation, with a willingness to develop these skills - Experience in the arena of Performance and Driveability - Experience in project / program management - An interest and awareness of the competitive environment, particularly in relation to the Performance and Economy Attributes - Experience in presenting data and information clearly in large forums

Degree or HND in one of the following fields (or related): - Engineering - Mathematics/Statistics - Physics/Chemistry - Marketing/Research

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of operating across various functions (engineering, finance, marketing etc.) - Experience in the arena of fuel Economy/vehicle efficiency
