The Company:
Is a large Operator working on major projects

The Role:
- Provide services and support to the Geosciences& Reservoir Division consisting of 23 positions (8 Reservoirs, 8 G&G, 3 Subsurface Operations, 1 Assistant, 1GSR VP)
- 1 operated asset (100% with Qatar Petroleum –NOC): Al Khalij (production 25 kbopd, ca.100 holes, 3D and 4D seismic)


- Put in place and maintain DRP/BCP for GSR as per Senior VP Explo Manager policy request
- Knowledge of Company HSE policy, rules and procedures (HSE MS) and in particular ISO14001 standard.
- Observance of the company HSE policy, rules and procedures.

- To design, develop, load and deliver completed and validated data, covering wide data scope domain (from seismic to production) at different database tools solution such as Positioning, Logs & seismic database, EDMS database, archives, geographical information and knowledge DB.
- To guarantee the database integrity, the permanent update with incoming information and the quality control of all data type before loading into the corporate data bases.
- Supervise the activities of teams involved in Geographic Information System & Cartography.
- Put into operation different data bases, scientist tools and archiving software and solutions – licenses management and software portfolio
- Data loading and data management into workstations (SISMAGE, Geolog6, ArcGIS, Petrel, Gravitas, Reservoir tools, OFM, etc.)
- Management and optimization of tree-like file structure on Windows, LINUX and Oracle Servers
- Ensuring high quality service delivery of data management, records management and document control
- Contributes to the overall IT vision & strategy for the areas of responsibility
- Pro-actively liaise with other client entities and HQ GeoInformation and data management entities in order to harvest potential synergies through joint initiatives and knowledge sharing including respect of the clients standards and Company Rules

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
B. Sc in Engineering: Geosciences or Data Management.
At least 5 year experience in GeoInformation domain in Oil&Gas Upstream Company
Technical competencies:. Knowledge of geosciences & reservoir data, of databases & data model, of IT specific GSR software and hardware environment
Behavioural competencies: Sense of service, Confidentiality, conscientiousness, good communication skills.
Other competencies: Fluent in English, French is an asset.
