Our client is the largest oil company in Saudi Arabia.

The Role:
We seek an experienced DVR Engineering Specialist to work with Process & Control Systems Department/Advanced Process Solutions Division. Process & Control Systems Department/Advanced Process Solutions Division. The Advanced Process Solutions Division provides expertise and specialists in the areas of Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Simulation, Scheduling, Planning, Manufacturing Operation Management, Plant Performance Management, and Energy Performance Management. Company is currently seeking an Engineering Specialist with extensive experience in Process engineering and Data Validation & Reconciliation (DVR) and their application in the Oil & Gas Industry. Candidate will be mainly responsible for developing, implementing and supporting DVR systems throughout company facilities (refineries, Gas Plants, and GOSPs). The successful candidate must have experience in process engineering, plant operation, modeling and simulation, first principle model-based data validation and reconciliation, and project management. In addition, hands-on experience in VALI software for Data Validation and Reconciliation technology is a plus. As a member of the central engineering organization, the candidate will be expected to interact with various Company organizations such as: producing organizations, facilities planning, maintenance, and project management to develop cost effective solutions for systems used throughout the Company. Candidate is required to travel to different sites which are spread across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ability to work with others and good communication skills (written and oral) are required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of Fifteen (15+) years of professional experience as an engineer in charge of technical work in field of specialty. Extensive previous experience as a process engineer is required. Previous hands-on experience in deploying and supporting DVR applications and simulation models, for the Oil & Gas industry, using software such as Hysis, PRO II, VALI, etc. is required. Previous experience with a major international Oil and Gas Company and/or previous employment with one of the major suppliers of simulation/DVR, in the Oil & Gas field, is desired. Candidate will have participated as a lead engineer in deploying simulation or DVR projects. Professional Certification, Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.E.) license or registration is desired. • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering • Ten (10) years of professional experience, including years as a process, simulation, or DVR engineer. • Five (5) years of professional experience as

The candidate will be able to: Provides expert advice and assistance to Company organizations, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to his area of expertise Originates and carries out engineering studies to determine potential problems and remedies to existing problems resolve complex technical problems, increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety Develops and maintains The largest oil company in Saudi Arabia Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices, Design Manuals or other documentation to enhance company profitability, safety and productivity Evaluates and introduces best practices and new technologies from all over the world to help the Company achieve Best in Class positions in the oil business. Reviews and evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to The largest oil company in Saudi Arabia.
