The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Day Drilling Supervisor to join the team based in Perth. In this role you will be the Senior Client Representative at the well site for all well construction activities and report to the Drilling Superintendent.

Responsibilities may include:
• Coordinate and supervise the execution of the approved offshore drilling construction program
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the clients WC&I Management System
• Manage offshore aspects of well construction operations to meet QHSE and asset objectives
• Participate as a key player in drilling campaign planning and preparation
• Support Drilling Superintendent to ensure rig is contractually accepted & operationally ready after shipyard phase
• Review of drilling guidelines to ensure they are in accordance with company and legislative requirements and fit for purpose
• Manage the activities of our clients offshore rig supervision team (Night drilling supervisors, materials and logistics coordinator, Well site Drilling Engineer, technical specialists, Well site geologist)
• Mentor the offshore supervisory team to ensure the appropriate focus is given to HSE supervision, involvement in JSAs and safety meetings
• Ensure that the client gives all required support to the Installation OIM to ensure that operations are carried out safely and effectively
• Act as the primary liaison and manage interfaces for WC&I between the ENSCO 5006 OIM and any other company entities that affect the MODU
• Coordinate the clients activities to ensure operational planning and logistics management is given a high priority to provide for safe, efficient and cost effective operations
• Input into the detailed well construction operations plans
• Oversee the management of service company and contractor personnel at the well site
• Ensure that all well operations are adequately risk assessed prior to being undertaken
• Ensure that specific Standing Instructions are prepared for all well construction operations
• Ensure that all operations and well status reports are accurately completed as per the requirements of the well programme and the WC&I Management System
• Ensure that the appropriate well integrity barriers are in place at all times during the Well Construction operations
• Ensure that any changes to the Well Programme are agreed and that where necessary a Management of Change is completed and approved

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will demonstrate the following;

• A minimum of 8-10 years experience in a similar position ideally working for a Oil & Gas Operator
• Strong technical knowledge of the legislative requirements
• Highly developed communications skills and be proficient in typical Microsoft computer based applications
• Must hold current IADC Well Control (Surface) certification
• Experience working independently and in a team environment
• Prior supervision and directing large multidiscipline groups supporting onshore operations and projects
