The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
The role is based in Kent. This is a permanent role. Candidtaes to live ideally within one hour of Kent, or be willing to relocate

Main Duties

Services, after initial training, the full range of the clients systems, DCS and QCS, including configuration, calibration, modification, cleaning, adjustment, Preventative and Corrective maintenance and pertinent documentation.
Deputises for management on site related activities
Prepares and delivers training courses on relevant areas of expertise.
Commissions equipment in the field.
Advises clients as to maintenance procedures, evolution, site planning, operational methods, process measurement and control.
Promotes sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advises Sales department of possible sales leads.
Assists Sales and Account management with preparation of quotations.
Carries out feasibility studies on behalf of Clients, and recommends courses of action in order for client to overcome plant, quality and control problems.
Be available on an ‘on call’ basis to advise customers out of hours and, if necessary, make unscheduled site visits, whether or not formally on call.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or HND in Electrical or Measurement & Control Engineering
Clean Driving Licence (UK)
Self Motivated and able to work unsupervised
Demonstrate excellent customer focus.
Good networking skills.
Results orientation.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of Paper Industry
Knowledge of QCS or OCS systems
Commercial awareness
