The Role:
KEY ROLES
• Leads the service delivery of health, safety, security, environment regulatory and risk for site project delivery
• Provides feedback to project leadership on their health, safety and environmental performance, drawing on Traction data and trends.
• Supports the Decks HSSE Team Lead in the health, safety, environment and risk discipline capability development in Offshore Facilities.
• Deputises for the Topside HSE Team Lead
• Will ensure continued support during Commissioning and offshore Hook Up Campaigns

The Senior HSE Advisor is responsible for mentoring and training PMT HSE personnel in the work process’ and related policy and procedures. This will include assessing personnel periodically to ensure they remain competent for their role.

The Senior HSE Advisor is also responsible:-
• The day-to-day provision of HSSE management
• Advising on the definition of specific HSSE goals, objectives and targets and the setting of those for the PMT;
• Participating in risk management including the identification and management of all threats and opportunities;
• Verifying conformance to Contractor and GPO CoW Requirements;
• Updating HSSE plans and other documentation as required;
• Reviewing project HSSE related documentation and providing advice as required;
• Participating in HAZOP, HAZID and ENVID process as required;
• Conducting and participating in Go / No Go process;
• Communicating Company HSSE expectations to all levels of suppliers and contractors;
• Assisting in the development of a competency and training matrix;
• Auditing contractor organisations as required;
• Coaching the PMT line on safety culture leadership;
• Working with Contractors in implementing programs to systematically verify that equipment and services provided to project by suppliers and contractors meet contractual and Company Requirements;
• Risk Assessment and Management – works with the project organization to assess, prioritize and manage Project risks consistent with the GPO Risk Practice;
• Personal Safety – implements GPO practices and procedures to systematically identify to assess safety hazards and mitigate risks to people, plant and environment;
• Supports Topside Team lead in implementing GPO security practice;
• Metrics & Reporting – Monitors and reports HSSE performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BASIC SKILLS
• Proven Leader
• PC Skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Capable of undertaking statistical data analysis
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment, inclusive of demonstrating collaborative, cooperative, flexible, adaptable, respectful, and tactful personal characteristics
• Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy
• Confident, creative, and energetic approach to addressing all quality-related issues
• Competent in effectively communicating in both verbal and written English
• Ability to advise Delivery Team to stop work if significant issues arise in meeting Technical Specification requirements or there is a likelihood that HSSE is compromised
• Ability to develop and implement HSE Management System documentation
• Physical fit to access construction work locations both on and offshore.
• English and Azeri Essential (Plus Russian Language Skills preferred)
