The Role:
Our Client requires a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the project management, engineering and execution activities as part of the existing Quality Assurance team. The position will report to the Decommissioning Quality Assurance Team Lead. Responsibilities Develop project specific procedures and the overall implementation of the Quality Management System on the project. Monitor and report on their implementation. Coordination of procurement quality with suppliers, including bidder evaluation, input to contracts and purchase orders, bid evaluations, pre-award assessment. Agree post contract award supplier quality assurance arrangements meetings and monitor compliance to contract and quality requirements. Review of supplier and sub suppliers documentation such as quality plans and inspection and test plans. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Project Quality and Assurance Plans. Liaise with Supplier Quality Management representatives to agree quality requirements and compliance with contractual obligations. Support, conduct and report on internal, external & project specific audits and reviews, where required, in accordance with an approved audit schedule and specific project requirements. Assist in the implementation of improvement activities across the project where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally 5-10 years Oil & Gas Industry Experience including Quality Management on Major Projects. A recognised Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification or HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering discipline Formal training in the ISO 9000 Standards Experience of implementing quality procedures and monitoring compliance Proven ability in Quality Management principles and methods for evaluation, control and follow up of sub-contractors/suppliers.
