The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
For our client we are looking for a Deputy Harbour Controller for a 7 month contract on a 28/28 rotation. In this position you will be the primary contact to all vessel movements and Marine related activities. In this position you must be able to work independently and unsupervised and you must also possess the necessary skills to manage a number of independent contractors in meeting their HSEQ and operational requirements. You will also require to be certified to drive light vehicles.

Some of your duties should include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Act as the primary P.O.C. for all marine coordination
• Monitor and manage the HSEQ requirements of marine contractors
• Conduct mid/short term scheduling for logistics movements in/out and publish through the Logistics Daily Activities Schedule in consultation with the Harbour Controller
• Provide support to Marine Logistics through the conduct of regular audits of Logistics Vessels to ensure contractors remain compliant with OE requirements
• Provide support to Logistics personnel with Marine SME requirements
• Ensure the marine facilities and berths remain at an operational standard and report any defects to the appropriate manager for rectification.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position your experience include:
• Suitable personnel management, vessel coordination, and marine operations experience to satisfy the demands of this position.
• Required; Driving Training (half day practical) and MSIC Card.

Preferred Skills/Personal Attributes:
• Work well in small teams with a diverse variety of backgrounds and professional disciplines.
