The Company:
is a leading Oil & Gas operator with two major high profile LNG projects currently underway.

The Role:
The Downstream Deputy HES Superintendent is a key member of the site HESQ project team, reporting directly to the HES Superintendent.

The Deputy HES Superintendent must possess the skills to provide HES construction support to Client, Contractors and their subcontractors. The Deputy HES Superintendent’s role is to ensure that site construction activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.

A key feature of the role is the ability to routinely deliver high performance results in a demanding construction work environment, to ensure that an effective coordinated approach is deployed which ensures site construction activities are fully understood, appropriate controls are deployed and mitigation strategies implemented.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Deputy HES Superintendent must possess extensive experience and is technically competent (subject matter expert) in the following systems and processes: • Scaffold erection, modification and dismantling operations and planning • Scaffold inspection and certification • PTW audits • Hazard Intervention Program • Incident/Injury Prevention • Liaising with Emergency Response teams • Liaising with Incident Management teams • Supporting the award and recognition program • Scaffold HES Audits • Risk Assessment and JHA • Incident investigation and RCA • Temporary site installations • Working at Height • HESQ policies and procedures

• Broad technical and HESQ skills in site construction operations.
• Major capital project experience with a large multi-disciplined workforce.
• Technical expert in occupational safety, health and environmental stewardship; risk assessment; human factors and HESQ management systems.
