The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:

The MLF Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Logistics requirements between PSB (Perth Supply Base) and MLF (Marine Loadout Facility). Incumbent will be required to stand in for multiple roles in a minimal capacity, such as material coordination, yard coordination & stow planning for night shift operations.

This position supports the night-shift Port Operations by providing an interface between Materials Management, Logistics and Marine, to ensure goods are moved in accordance with Project schedules

• Coordination of interfaces at MLF & PSB with logistics and quarantine teams, Integrated Logistics Services contractor, mainland Supply Base Contractor, and Marine Contractor to coordinate progress, priorities and change management.
• Work with project cross functional teams, and sub-contractors to resolve schedule and resource conflicts.
• Identify areas for efficiency gain, control and oversight of Logistics within and between the MLF facilities.
• Alignment of schedule with preparation for load of freight for handover to Marine contractor for onward movement to BWI.
• Management of MLF laydown, storage and subcontractor resource requirements, allocation and prioritisation to ensure project schedule is maintained.
• Effectively manage the changes in priorities, interface between Logistics and Supply Base Contractors to ensure freight is correctly schedule for movement.
• Main areas of operation to support the Gorgon Project Logistics for all MLF related requirements, interface with the various stakeholders / customers.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Supply base and laydown coordination / control experience
• Freight operations, MHE and contractor management experience
• Multimodal freight / logistics experience in handling out of gauge materials and equipment
• Organisational ability, strong leadership and reporting skills
• Ability to communicate and negotiate with operational interfaces – Marine, Quarantine and Materials Management
• Computer literacy with base office suite

Desirable Skills and Qualifications
• Previous management of marine supply operations
• Adaptability/flexibility to adapt to changing environments
• Previous exposure to IR management
• Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work in small teams
