The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Manager, your role will be to provide leadership through active participation as a key member of the Site Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Management Team, ensuring activities comply with the clients HSE standards. Additionally, you will oversee and work collaboratively to gain value from the arrangements between the client and its contractors. The overarching goal is to move forward as one team solving problems that inhibit contract providers working to standards of excellence.

•Assumes accountability and authority of the Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Manager in time of his absence from site.
•Demonstrates an overriding commitment to health and safety responsibility and sustainable development and consistently lead against the core safety behaviours.
•Strives to eliminate injuries and incidents in the workplace by proactively managing safety and ensure timely resolution of safety issues, providing communication and consultation of safety related matters with contract work teams.
•Responsible for supporting the safe, reliable and environmental sound operations and maintenance of all Gorgon Camp and Utility Facilities throughout the construction process. This includes camp facilities for up to 5,000 personnel, construction offices, water plants, sewage plants, and power generation facilities all to support the Gorgon construction.
•Undertake regular audits of the operational performance of plant and equipment to ensure that these facilities are performing to design requirements. Has input to the scheduling, planning, and execution of maintenance shutdowns to ensure minimum impact to construction activities.
•Responsible for promoting activities that achieves and maintains world class uptime performance of all critical production process equipment and facilities. Actively facilitates the identification of appropriate process and reliability opportunities to enhance equipment output efficiency.
•Ensures that all contractor personnel under this role's direction are in compliance to Gorgon Project systems, manuals and processes. Uses and champions the use of the "hierarchy of control" principles during implementation of duties that relate to risk assessment and permit to work management.
•Works with the Infrastructure team to ensure that all applicable processes are followed and opportunities are explored to achieve Operational Excellence in the management of all camp and utility facilities during the construction phase and participate in regular audits of OE performance.
•Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity. efficiency and cost effectiveness. Be a leader in continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree in Engineering with a minimum 10 years experience in a maintenance and plant operations environment.
•Experience with reverse osmosis, waste water treatment and diesel engine driven generators type power station and HV distribution.
•Evidence of effective working relationships with Contractors to coordinate numerous short and long term project milestones.
•Experience with post award contractual relationships demonstrated background in managing contractors in remote/limited working environment
•Experience and capability to manage resolution of serious technical issues.
•Demonstrate sound management skills.
•Solid understanding of Permit to Work systems and experienced of commissioning practices.
