The Deputy Operations Centre Manager will be responsible for the
development and operation of the Ops Centre. This will include the
development of supporting processes, documentation and reporting as
the Ops Centre evolves and the integration of the planning cycle
and 'Information Functionality' and will be required to assist in any
additional training requirements. The role will be a 9x80 on the opposite

focal point for all Operations Centre functions, ensuring:
In conjunction with the Ops Centre Manager, the establishment and daily
running of the Ops Centre and daily brief preparation.
Ensure adherence to the information management system in support of
the Ops Centre function.
Day to day monitoring of Execution events and providing support activity
to the scope owners.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
Support the development and establishment of the Operations Centre, to
include support to Garner development, testing and implementation.
Maintaining the Execution Daily Log.
Internal process management and operations coordination.
Collation of daily reports and ensuring that actuals are captured for
feedback into Garner, where they fall outside the system.
Support and management of external and internal reporting.
Support to the Information Manager in the development of the
Logistics Planning Group

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Years of Industry Specific Experience: 3-5
Minimum Years of Total Experience: 5-10
Previous experience in Operations Management, in particular Ops Rooms
Previous Military experience is beneficial for this role.
Be able to work to strict deadlines and provide detailed reports.
Strong communication skills; briefing skills and written communication to
High level of competence in MS Office: Access, Visio, Word, PowerPoint
and Excel, particularly SharePoint
Excellent information management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skill; able to build relationships and communicate
