Deputy Operations Superintendent / Henderson / Long Term Contract / $Excellent

The successful Deputy Operations Superintendent will be responsible for the supervision of safe and effective operation at the site. Reporting into the Port Operations Supervisor.

The job:
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Commits to and champions implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an incident and injury free culture.
- Conduct vessel scheduling and vessel load planning at the MLF site
- Assist in the loadout/discharge and act as a local client representative for the management of Stevedoring Services
- Flexibility in deployment to other Supply Bases as required to fill emergent gas in capability
- Development and improvement of Port Operations Logistics Procedures and operations at the MLF
- Day to day adhoc duties associated with the MLD
- Interface with Project Logistics operations.

Skills and qualifications:

- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Previous management of marine supply operations
- Adaptability/flexibility to adapt to changing environments
- Previous marine transport planning experience
- Previous exposure to IR management
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work in small teams
