The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Deputy Planning Manager to assist the Functional Planning Manager based in Perth. The position is rotational to Barrow Island on a 28/28 roster.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Provide oversight and schedule stewardship to the Site Execution Manager, Execution Support Manager and Area Project Managers.
• Work closely with Planning Manager to provide direction and leadership to the Planning team on site such that the planning functions are fully compliant with Owner processes, procedures, and deliverables meet Owner project requirements.
• Develop, maintain and analyse planning metrics, schedule, progress, tangible quantities, productivity, indirect ratio’s and man-hours / forecast.
• Work closely with Implementation Contractors in development, maintenance and analysis of Level 4 schedules through to and including Startup.
• Lead Progress Measurement/Quantity Surveyor team on site and ensure clear interfaces and procedures in place.
• Be intimate with the following activities to ensure Planning at site is being administered to provide the necessary information required to obtain best overall construction performance in a safe and cost effective manner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• 10+ years experience in construction with emphasis on Planning
• Preferably 5+ years as a Project Controls Manager
• Competent in use of computer systems and software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and a keen understanding of construction sequencing.
• Good knowledge of LNG construction planning and dealing / interfacing with Contractors.
• Excellent communicator and team player with well developed interpersonal relationship skills.
