The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager based at our clients site in Hartlepool, who will aspire to carry out the following:

Responsibilities:
- To ensure adherence to Company Policy and procedures.
- Quality, safety, health and environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others safety).
- To perform tasks which may be requested by Management, from time to time.
- To represent company in all matters concerning the project
- To develop the project strategy
- To assist in the preparation of tenders
- To approve procurement of project related items
- To monitor project costs against budget and ensure all costs are up to date and signed off.
- To monitor subcontractors and vendors
- To ensure that a vendor/subcontractor performance file is maintained
- To liaise with Client
- To evaluate progress reports
- To represent the company in meetings with the Client and to prepare and distribute minutes of meetings
- To control the authorised system documentation issued by the QA Department
- To ensure that the procedures are followed and maintained.
- To stimulate personnel in quality, safety, health and environmental awareness.
- To ensure correct implementation of the company Quality/SHE Policy.
- To identify and report possible quality problems to the Company Management and recommend possible solutions for such problems
- To perform Safety Intervention Discussion (SIDs) providing that training has been completed
- Individual risk awareness within job role.
- Identify and highlight any further training requirements of their personnel.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Materials Science or equivalent qualifications.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Fabrication / Mechanical experience.
