The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
• Act as Deputy URF Manager and assume authority of URF Manager as required.
• Manage the engineering and procurement area (and team) within the Umbilical’s Risers and Flowlines (URF) Group during the execution phase.
• Assume ultimate responsibility towards URF Manager for implementation of a correct and complete engineering and procurement scope within the URF package and associated contracts.
• Represent URF Group on engineering, procurement, construction and installation issues at both internal and external meetings.
• Ensure that engineering and procurement obligations are documented and delivered within the URF Package.
• Liaise with other packages in relation to resolution of engineering and procurement interfaces.
• Lead / participate in Design Review, HAZID / ENVID, Constructability Review workshops etc.
• Review contractor execution plans to ensure compliance with the contract requirements and identify necessary adjustments.
• Establish an accurately defined schedule for all phases of engineering and procurement and ensure up to date.
• Provide reporting function towards URF Manager for all engineering and procurement activities.
• Monitor all facets of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, transport, installation and pre-commissioning work across URF package to ensure that project schedule, budget and technical requirements are, as a minimum, met or improved upon.
• Bring to earliest attention of URF Manager any engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation and pre-commissioning issues which present a significant threat to the URF Package and offer mitigating measures / work plan.
• Manage MOC, technical action closure processes / tracking within URF Package.
• Preparation of project documentation.
• Review and comment internal project documentation and external consultant / contractor project documentation.
• Become thoroughly conversant with project documentation, specifications and procedures.
• Assist to and lead technical resolution of Contractor claims.
• Assist URF Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Assist to / participate in emergency response arrangements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum 20 years covering construction and installation of subsea infrastructure within the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Proven track record holding similar position within other projects.
• Previous significant experience working in client and / or contractor team on EPCI / EPCM contracts and working with relevant internationally recognized design codes / standards.
