The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
CAD Engineer, reporting to Senior Manager - APC Design Engineering Feasibility.
The role is responsible for the Analysis, investigation and issue resolution of design related concepts across a number of vehicles lines. Candidates must be used to working in dynamic cross functional teams, be skilled in Problem resolution and be highly motivated. They will be located at Gaydon as part of a team of Advanced Product Creation Design Engineering Feasibility Team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Whole vehicle architecture and geometry capable, CAD proficient to all current tool sets (V5). Integration capability from existing and future systems and architecture. Conversant with current and forthcoming vehicle architectures and systems technologies. Excellent numeracy and spatial awareness. Awareness of Design Feasibility and A surface impact.
2. Manual drawing, sketching and fabrication knowledge. Familiar with OEM industry products and processes. PCS awareness.

2 years minimum OEM CAD, supplier or engineering experience.
3/4 years minimum in Industry.
Proven responsibility for component systems or package zones.
Evidence of most recent experience.
Degree or equivalent in engineering and discipline.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Aero Engineering/Industrial Design
