The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Chassis Mounting Systems CAD engineer
- Create CAD geometry (solids/surfaces) for SSA owned concept designs
- Support package review meetings and work with relevant CAD designers to resolve component packaging issues
- Manage supplier CAD data and input to Teamcentre
- Create and publish (in Teamcentre) component drawings

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Create CAD geometry (solids/surfaces) for SSA owned concept designs
- Support package review meetings and work with relevant CAD designers to resolve component packaging issues
- Manage supplier CAD data and input to Teamcentre
- Create and publish (in Teamcentre) component drawings
- Automotive engineering design/development
- HNC/D or equivalent automotive experience in the above field

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Engineer complex parts and / or assemblies, with particular consideration to part to part interfaces and relationships, including CAE, DFM and DFA and associated requirements
Work with CAD/non-CAD based engineers to extract engineering requirements to incorporate in CAD design

Design experience of cast/forged/fabricated steel or aluminum components
Working knowledge of Teamcentre
A working knowledge of Product Creation System (PCS)
Mechanical Engineering Degree
