The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experiences engineering professionals.

The Role:
To design and develop remote key assembly, docking station and deploying display screen mechanisms and components for future programmes.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
 CAD design and modelling of all new components.
 Creation of detailed drawings to Company drafting standards.
 Some preparation of engineering release packs.
 Work under the direction of Project Engineer/PMST Leader on day-day basis.
 Investigation of build issues in prototype and on-line to establish root cause.
 Support Virtual Series events through to FDJ.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Engineering degree or equivalent.
 Extensive experience in the design of body exterior / mechanisms components is preferred.
 A working knowledge of component manufacturing and tooling requirements.
 Working knowledge of interior mechanisms and actuator systems or remote keyless entry systems would be advantageous.
 Siemens NX (preferred) or Catia V5 experience.
 Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint proficient.
 Self-starting and self-motivated.
 Ability to work to under pressure to agreed deadlines.
