The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Powertrain Package Leader.
- As part of a new and strengthened Powertrain Programme Management team there are 3 roles available to support Powertrain Package and Design Solutions.
This role will be based working within the Co-Located Programme Management teams working alongside colleagues in Electrical, Chassis and Body engineering.
The delivery timescale of this role runs from the PSC gateway through to job 1.
- The role covers 3 key areas
1) Maintaining published CAD data quality and provide an internal data review of Powertrain design solutions to cross check DPA assessments
2) Work across the CoCs to drive solutions to cross functional design issues.
3) Support the Powertrain design areas to delivery design solutions in accordance with virtual series requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent Digibuck (VisMockup) skills Catia V5 user skills Teamcenter skilled Proactive problem solving ability.
Able to propose new concept design solutions and demonstrate package solutions using CAD tools
Good communicator and team leader.
Ability to bring engineers together and drive conclusions out of technical design studies.
Passed Catia V5 and Teamcenter training requirements
- Familiarity with Powertrain and underbody Vehicle engineering design
- Experience of working to engineering standards (requirements and design rules)
Technically educated and within Automotive engineering. At least 5 years experience in industry.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
High level of IT literacy: Google Mail, Excel, Powerpoint in addition to above CAD skills
