The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
SCS Design Engineer The modulation department is responsible for the design and delivery of vehicle SCS system hardware and software. This role is to design and deliver the hardware to support the SCS system for the D7a platform. As the role develops, expansion onto other programmes will also be considered. The role will be split as 50% CAD design and 50% development; working with the platform lead engineers. The CAD element will be to develop designs for modulator bracket, and wheel speed sensor installations and the development aspect will include liaising with the workshop to facilitate rise and fall checks on rigs, and supporting vehicle build activities as appropriate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
CATIA CAD skills essential Good communication Proactive
Experience of working with development rigs desirable Good interaction with workshop

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified preferred although not essential A-level or GNVQ level 3 minimum
