The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Leading the business' push into Objective Test Methods capability with respect to Driving Dynamics. Objective vehicle testing is integral to the Driving Dynamics Methods and Tools Team being able to set reliable objective metric targets, to understand vehicle behaviour and characteristics, and to deliver the efficiency gains required by the business. The role will enable to increase efficiency by replacing physical prototypes with virtual test methods throughout the Product Creation Delivery System. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing vehicle evaluation expertise and objective metrics feedback to CAE engineers within the Methods and Tools Team. The individual will also be expected to organise and attend physical test trips, process and analyse complex data sets, define development direction, benchmark competitor vehicles, and execute related technical projects on live programmes.

Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS Previous experience with vehicle testing, measuring and subjective evaluation Proficiency with Matlab (or other data manipulation and processing methods) Excellent communication and team work skills

Experience Required:
High (2:1 minimum) degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Motorsport or Aeronautical Engineering, or Computer Science. Previous experience in similar role in Automotive or Motorsport industry would be advantageous

Experience Preferred:
Strong working knowledge of AGILE methodologies, Proficiency with C++, VB, & VB.NET also an advantage
