The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Responsibility for assessing, measuring and analyzing Braking attribute targets through vehicle testing and CAE and Virtual tool analysis. Identifying relevant issues, you¿ll drive for root cause definition the development of optimal solutions in collaboration with other attribute owners and component delivery groups.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills Required:
1. Development and validation of class leading Braking systems that fulfills the customer target and legal requirements. 2. Assess, develop and confirm Braking attribute targets through vehicle based testing/evaluation (in the UK and overseas) and CAE modelling. 3. Lead and/or contribute to problem definition and technical resolution of Braking attribute issues. 4. Develop new and update current test procedures to exceed customer expectations. 5. Liaise and collaborate with other process partners including Design, Purchase, Project Team, Manufacturing, Electrical etc. to optimise vehicle level target balancing 6. Use and enhance CAE and other virtual techniques to drive expedient and robust delivery

Experience Required:
Experience in the development of Foundation Brake systems. Above average and demonstrated driving and evaluation skills with an aptitude to develop further. Self motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision. Flexible
