The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experiences engineering professionals.

The Role:
To lead SCS development for future programs.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
 Lead the vehicle based SCS development in parallel with the software and hardware suppliers.
 Use subjective and objective measures to tune AYC, ABS and TCS systems to achieve appropriate levels of programme specific end-user performance.
 Lead development test teams at international proving grounds and manage the logistics and planning of these test trips.
 Manage vehicle specifications and build levels in order to continually test the most appropriate levels of hardware.
 Support the Chassis department in system development.
 Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of issue resolution.
 Identify key characteristics for the attribute that enable progress to be tracked throughout development of a new program.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Engineering Degree in appropriate discipline.
 Extensive experience within an automotive or automotive components supplier group.
 Experience of vehicle dynamics testing or development.
 High degree of performance vehicle limits handling experience.
 Good understanding of the theory of vehicle dynamics and base brakes.
 Experience of testing at European proving grounds.
 Excellent analytical skills.
 AMPCS knowledge or equivalent process knowledge (GPDS, FPDS).
 Strong time management, accuracy, diligence, ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks to meet customer needs.
 Competent in all Microsoft Office toolset with experience of writing engineering test reports.
 Must be willing to frequently travel and test at overseas proving grounds
