The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Key Responsibilities include: Design and development of energy efficient cooling/heating systems for the proposed Catapult battery packs. Create and develop validated thermal models of the battery system. Investigate breakthrough technologies in the areas of heating & cooling and where appropriate seek to apply to the Catapult project. Write specification for battery cooling/heating system. Specify and write testing processes for cooling/heating system to validate modelling

Skills Required:
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and display a high degree of initiative. CAE thermal analysis Battery knowledge would be ideal but not essential. Applicant must be qualified to Degree standard in a relevant subject. The role may require inter site travel so a full valid UK driving licence is essential

Experience Required:
1 year experience working on automotive HV Battery Systems

Experience Preferred:
Familiarity with vehicle and climate cooling systems engineering, climate management system architecture.

Education Required:
Qualified to at least degree level preferably in a relevant subject

Education Preferred:
HV training
