The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
- Reporting to a Project Leader within the Project Management team, the succesful candidate will support key Powertrain activities in order to deliver ETO (Engineered to Order) projects.
- The role will include: liasion across Powertrain departments\ETO and suppliers e.g definition of system and component data requirements, support of system and component tests (including setting of test parameters, ESO validation and homologation requirements), organisation of shipment/logisitics for components and vehicles to support test/assessments as required, prototype build support, interface with/support of Performance and Economy attribute teams and Vehicle Engineering.

Skills Required:
- Have a current working level knowledge of most/all Powertrain systems, Product Development processes and GPDS principles.
- This role is best suited to a candidate with strong initiative and a "can do", pragmatic approach.

Skills Preferred:
- Engineering of automotive components/systems within an OEM or similar (preferably Powertrain.)
- Engineering DV/Sign off methods and test processes.
- Ideally, experience of engineering high performance/premium luxury vehicles.

Experience Required:
- Engineering of automotive components/systems within an OEM or similar (preferably Powertrain.)

Experience Preferred:
- Vehicle and/or engine performance and economy simulation/data analysis.
- Working level knowledge of automotive control/calibration systems.
- Liaision with engineering service providers, and experience of low volume manufacturing routes preferred.

Education Required:
- Engineering Degree or similar.
