The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will provide cross functional, analytical and technical support to the department and our customers, with the following Core Responsibilities: Coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of Materials Engineering GBE (Global Business Enterprise) activities, to include: - Management of AIMS, liaising with the Materials team and ensuring requested data is provided in a timely manner. - Coordination & delivery of requirement verification activities (RMDV) for necessary vehicle programmes. Target setting and cascading of Materials requirements, in accordance with programme gateway deliverables, engineering guidance & support and metrics generation & reporting. - Coordination of Tox Proof requirements, liaising with a number of stakeholders. - Variety of a number of other tasks to support Materials Engineering global activities including, iPLM and standards control/conversion.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to handle multiple tasks within agreed deadlines and with minimal supervision. Be self-motivated and willing to suggest new solutions and efficiency improvements. Clear/concise written and verbal communication and team/networking skills. Comfortable learning new company based systems. Effective use of PC tools and high level of competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Willingness to learn.
Ability to demonstrate the Primary Skills listed. Desirable but not essential, experience of company management systems, i.e. AIMS, RMDV, iPLM
Technical qualification desirable but not essential.
