The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
1. Responsible for developing and maintaining technical knowledge and capability.
2. Responsible for defining and planning own work for approval by SE and FM.
3. Responsible for design and development of wheel and tyre systems & components which,
when introduced into production, will satisfy the specified performance requirements, are
safe, legal and otherwise fit for purpose (including satisfying product liability requirements).
4. Accountable for planning, monitoring and expediting all test, validation and certification of
systems and components to demonstrate successful achievement of (3) above.
5. Accountable for timely design release for prototype build and production, and for the
delivery of relevant Product Engineering activities required to achieve timely vehicle launch
to quality and cost targets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Appropriate Engineering degree, or acceptable National Certificate/ Diploma and relevant experience.
Full UK (or EU) Driving License.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Additional high performance driving qualification would be an advantage.
Graduates with relevant final year project and work experience OR
3 years technician experience in a chassis related role in the automotive or aerospace industries.
